MATT SAURMAN, AIA

Matthew Saurman has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Arizona State University, and a Master of Architecture with Distinction from the University of Michigan.  Prior to Searl Lamaster Howe, Matthew practiced in Michigan, Montana, and Chicago for award-winning firms on a wide range of design-build, residential, furniture, retail, and commercial projects.  A licensed Architect in the State of Illinois, Matthew has 15 years of experience as a designer and project manager.  He enjoys the outdoors, travel, skiing, and painting. In 2024 Matt transitioned from fulltime SLH staffer to on-call consultant.
